18th century historical visual novel
Set in 1793 amongst a mysterious secret society, a windswept island and various famous figures of the time, The Council is a visual novel where players learn more about their strange surrounding, explore and interact with NPCs, develop skills and make tough social decisions. A gripping plot unfolds based on these decisions, but sub-par voice acting and frequent technical issues hamper the overall experience. The Council is an above-average visual novel with some unfortunate negative elements.
